Our Board of Directors

Co-Chair of the Board - Kirsten Liegmann, MBA, holds an undergraduate Business degree with Minors in Environmental Studies and International Business.  Her MBA in Sustainable Management is from Presidio School of Management, San Francisco, CA.  She co-founded SOMA Ergonomics, Inc., an ergonomic chair manufacturing company in CA; for which she served as President and CEO for two of the years she was with the company.  A student of Systems Theory and Analysis, she loves to understand the processes of the current paradigm, and seeks paths to shift into new ways of perceiving the possible.  Her current focus is global financial systems, with an emphasis on complementary currencies.

 

Bill KauthVice President of the Board - Bill Kauth is one of the original creators of The ManKind Project (MKP), a 501(c)(3) organization with certified organizational centers in 27 different communities in the United States, Canada and England. Its stated mission is to assist men in "reclaiming the sacred masculine for our time through initiation, training, and action in the world." Since 1985, more than 10,000 men from diverse races, faiths, nationalities and sexual orientations have completed New Warrior Training Adventure weekends.  Bill contributed his expertise in group processes to the original DEEP PERCEPTION workshop.

 

Shaktari BelewExec. Director of the Honoring All Life Foundation (non-profit parent of the Thrivability Institute), Shaktari Belew consciously explores life.  She has studied Developmental Psycholody, Kinesiology, Fine Art, Communication, and Art History.  She holds an MSc degree in Organizing Learning for EcoSocial Regeneration from Gaia University, where she offers her skills as a Process Advisor and Internal Reviewer.  She is fascinated with HOW we perceive and the subsequent choices we make that determine our sense of reality.  Her book on the subject, exploring potent perceptual filters that offer new possibilities, Honoring All Life - A Practical Guide to Exploring a New Reality , was published in 2005.  Her workshop, DEEP PERCEPTION, has been offered in the USA and Europe, and provides an in-depth exploration of personal perceptual filters and new ways of perceiving the possible.  Locally, she is leading the effort to create a Gaia University regional center in Ashland, Oregon, which will host its first orientation for new students in June 2008..  Her greatest passion is to empower herself and everyone to experience their own core magnificence - and thus that of all life.

Kim KellerSecretary of the Board and Director of the India Project - Kim Keller has been working in the field of personal growth and transformation for over 15 years. During that time she has come to specialize in the field of youth development and leadership. She has had extensive work with parents, teachers, community members and individuals. She has served on numerous non-profit boards, community coalitions and National grassroot movements. While working as an alcohol/drug counselor Kim has come to understand that without mind, body and spirit connection all other modalities lack strength. Kim's passion is helping others to feel connected and whole, and to help our world become a healthier and more joyful place to live.
